Wrapping Paper Footballs

I loved all the treats and toys that I got for Christmas. But the best part about opening Christmas presents is the wrapping paper. My dad and I love football so he would take the wrapping paper and crumble it up like a football. Then he would throw it to me to catch. After that, I made sure to tear it into as many shreds as possible. It was a blast!

Barclay had never opened Christmas presents so I had to mentor him on the art of shredding paper. One of the hardest things to do it to make sure that every piece of paper is stepped on or pulled. He watched closely as his Nephew and Mentor Sawyer showed him exactly what to do.

Barclay thought it looked like a lot of work, but I assured him that it was more like a game. There is a lot of talk about "Cat like reflexes." Therefore we as dogs can not sit back if we want to be superior. We have to train so that when a cat approaches, we are ready at any moment to show them what skills we've got. This is the perfect way to train and have fun at the same time! I can't wait until next Christmas when we can do it all again.
