Growing Too Fast

Every since I was a puppy, everyone has told me I was a big dog. Why is it that everyone tells children to "Slow Down. You're Growing Too Fast"? What I realized is that many things grow fast. For instance, here is a photo of the bushes my dad planted last summer. He added the limestone and bark this year. This first photo was taken at the beginning of spring.

Now look at the photo with me. This is the most recent photo of the bushes. Haven't they grown a lot? I'm sure glad they kept growing. I used to get in a lot of trouble with my parents when I would nibble off the leaves and branches. My parents thought they wouldn't grow well if I kept eating them. But the proof is in the photos!!
