Spring Has Sprung

Last year you may remember that my parents planted a Bradford Pear Tree in the backyard. It smelled so good that I couldn't help by take a bite of the bark. I would nibble a little here and a little there. My parents weren't too happy with me when they got home. They always get onto my about barking in the backyard. However, when they saw what I had done, they told me that "My bite was worse than you bark."
Looking back, my parents shouldn't have been worried. A year has gone by and the Bradford Pear has made it through. In fact, the blooms during spring were beautiful. But you know what they say about beauty...it's fleeting. Therefore I had to enjoy the pretty flowers while they lasted. Can't wait to see it happen again next year.
