Turning Blankets into Shards
Of all the toys I've ever received, my blankets have always been my favorite. I am really good not to rip up mom or dad's blankets. I know exactly which ones belong to me and what I want to do with them. Here was one of my first blankets and the many ways I used it. When I was a puppy (as seen above), I would play tug of war with it. At that time, my dad and mom were pretty strong. I was no match for them. However, over time the tables have turned. They know that I'm the strong and mighty one. Sometimes I let them win because they were kind to let me win when I was a little pup.
As I got a bit older, I used my blanket to sit on for comfort. You know how I like me some comfort!! It was a great place to rest. I would even spread it out and roll around on it. When no one was looking, I would hide my bone inside it by covering it with layers of blanket with my muzzle. It was the perfect hiding spot for my prized possessions.
Last but certainly not least, my favorite way to play with my blanket(s) is to rip it into blanket shards. Though I love the end result, the process is pretty fun too! I make holes and then climb inside to entertain myself. It's a great workout!
The best part is that my dad's ties the shards into many little knots making it impossible to get undone...well almost impossible. Few things are too difficult for Sawyer the Dog to figure out! It just so happens that turning knots back into shards is my speciality. Come over to our house and see sometime. I know you'll be amazed!
