Hey Everyone,
Sorry I have been gone for a while. In the last 2 weeks, I have had a visit from JJ and the Duits, gone to Dallas, and celebrated my Parent's Birthdays! We have been one busy famiy. No time to blog. However, since we were so busy, we have tons of photos to post. So stay tuned for awesome updates with the family. In the mean time, enjoy these photos of my parents who went to Shoguns for dinner and then to the play WICKED to celebrate their Birthdays (and Marcy's) with the Jackson 5!

Did I mention...
I got lots of new bones for my gotcha day? I just love bones. They are my favorite. I like to rip off the knots on the end and then hide them around the house! If you look at the photo closely, you will see my big friend in the background (you might have to click the photo to enlarge it). He likes to go whereever I go! He's really good at hiding bones too. We're made for each other!

More Gotcha Dog Gifts
I was pretty bumbed when my guests left. However, my parents cheered me up with Gotcha Day gifts. Many of you may remember my "blue dog." It was my very first gift I ever received. (You can see a photo me and my Uncle Scott with the gift bag on May 13, 2006 in the archives...man, was I little or what?) Well, as I got older, I eventually tore up the toy. I was so saddened. My parents thought I would enjoy another dog. This time I got a "yellow dog." I just love it. Thanks Mom and Dad!

Happy Birthday PA!!!
Today is my Pa's 60th Birthday!
Over the last year, my loyal blog viewers have seen many sides of my Pa. Let's review some of my favorite "Pa moments" to celebrate his BIG day!
As you can tell, Jorja Jane has really been able to tame my Pa. He would gladly admit she has him wrapped around her finger. In fact, we have seen my Harley-riding Grandpa turn into a puppy, a taste-tester, a hair- dresser, and a chariot for Princess JJ.

JJ & Jedi
Jedi and JJ just loved playing outside. When JJ pet Jedi, he felt he was so cool! He almost gave her a kiss! Though I know they became good friends, I know they will never be as close as JJ and I. We are the bestest of friends...right, JJ?

Speaking of going together...
When they visited, Ma and JJ wore the same exact color and matched perfectly. Great minds think alike!! Ma also has great hair as well as JJ. Well, maybe JJ's hair is a little modern. She wanted to wear a headband like my mom who was getting ready for the day. JJ also wanted to do her hair all by herself and got this awesome "do." Super Cool!! (Don't forget you can click on the photo to enlarge the picture)

Sawyer Mind Trick
Okay, I may not be a Jedi, but I have mind tricks of my own. They don't call Weimaraners the "Gray Ghost" for nothing. I could move so fast that Jedi wasn't sure exactly were I was. Now, that's a cool trick!!

Me & My Cousin, Jedi
When my Jedi was here, we liked to play outside. Here we are hanging out on the back porch!
Here is my song for Cousin Jedi (It comes from the movie "White Christmas" originally called "Sisters." I modified it for him)
"Cousins, Cousins, There were never such devoted cousins; Never had to have a chaperone, no sir, I'm there to keep my eye on him....Caring, sharing, every little things that we are sniffing."Labels: Jedi

The Most Important Part
When JJ read the book to Paul and Pa she talked about Jesus on the cross, his tomb where he was dead and had bruises on his face, and then he was ALIVE. In fact, my mom (Tricia) taught her a song..."He's alive, he's a-liii-iiive." (JJ now sings it all the time.)
When JJ got to a photo of Jesus talking to his disciples. She said..."Here's Jesus. And he said...." uh oh, my mom didn't tell her what Jesus said. So she looked at mom, looked at the book, looked around the room, back at the book, and finally said to Uncle Paul and Pa...
"Jesus said...look. I have holes in my hands. Wanna see?"

Reading to Uncle Paul
JJ loved the Easter Book so much that she read it to Uncle Paul. Here is the part with the soliders. She was really interested in the soliders. She did not like that they were mean to Jesus. She was telling Paul that the soliders put Jesus on the cross. Why? "They were jealous." In fact, in all of JJ's books, she was able to find people that were jealous. She taught us that being jealous is not a good thing. She's so wise!

JJ's Favorite Gift
As mentioned before, JJ's favorite gift was an Easter Book about Jesus. She read it a hundred times. She is really smart. All you have to do is read a book to her one time and she knows it. She's so smart. She can even read the book upside down! Cool!

Pa - JJ's Favorite Person
It's no wonder that JJ loves Pa the most. He's always willing to be crazy and silly to make her smile. JJ thought it would be funny to give some of her new Easter stickers and Stretchy Bunny to Pa for accessories. He's so silly!
