JJ's Easter Basket

JJ was excited when she arrived and got an Easter Basket from me (oh...and my parents too). She especially loved all the fun toys inside her Easter Eggs. (Though I think she was nervous that I would steal her toys....I only took a few bunny stickers when she wasn't looking. What's the big deal?) Her favorite thing was a book about Jesus and Easter! Here she is on back patio playing with her Easter Bubbles!

A Gift for Uncle Paul

JJ also a gift for Uncle Paul for his Birthday! He got some really cool shirts. JJ and her mommy are getting at picking out gifts!

Got-her Day!

Okay, stop the press.
I was just informed that today is JJ's actual Gotcha Day! Remember how I talked about mine a few weeks ago! Today is the day that JJ celebrates becoming apart of our family! We are so blessed to have her in our lives...we couldn't live without her!!!

Here is one of the first photos we received of JJ before she came to America. Isn't she just adorable!

When she arrived in America, there were tons of family and friends to greet her! Our first glimpse included her in her OU attire! Now that's 'Sooner Bred!'

Upon arrival, JJ saw many new faces and a sea of flags waving red, white, and blue. She had come to America to change our lives forever...a day we will never forget!



Though it took a long flight from China to America, JJ came to her new home with her new parents and her new dog, Jett. Thus the fairtale begins. Afterall, we all know that she is our little princess!!

A Gift...for me!

Thanks Aunt Bunny, Uncle Matt, JJ, and Jett for my Gotcha Day present. How did you know that I love delicious bones! Thanks for thinking of me. Do I have to share with Jedi? I better hide the bones before he pulls a Jedi Mind Trick on me!

Come on in!

My family and I quickly greeted JJ and her mom, Bunny! She came with her Princess Suitcase and something in a Target sack. I wonder if that is for me!! You'll have to wait and see! (Stay tuned for tomorrow's post for the answer)

Surprise Visitor

Guess who came to visit me?? My favorite person in the world.... Jorja Jane!!! She arrived to hang out with Uncle Paul and Cynthia as well as to celebrate my Gotcha Day!! JJ has a Gotcha day too so she understands the importance of it!! I was so excited to see her. I am not so sure if she looked as excited as I did. She was hesitant, but I showed her I've matured!!

Concentration

Jedi nevers veers from the plan. Look at his face and the great concentration. He had his eye on every situation occuring around him!!

With Jedi in control, everything went smooth. He's a great leader! In fact, he lets his workers think they are in charge. However, he controls all their moves!! Cool! When I grow up, I want to be like my Cousin Jedi!

Happy Birthday Grandma Beef Jerky!!

I am so excited to Celebrate my Grandma Beef Jerky's Birthday! I call her that because she loves me so much that she gives me Beef Jerky (even when my mom says I don't need it). She is such a great Grandma to spoil me!!

For her birthday, I thought it would be fun to show everyone the diversity of my Grandma. She is very sweet and gentle....as you can see above. However, she also knows how to relax and have fun! Here is a photo of her in her Harley gear for when she goes riding on my Grandpa's motorcycle. She is the best dressed person on the road! Always stylish from head to toe!!

I would like to veer from our regularly-scheduled blog series to say a very HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY GRANDMA DIANA!!! I thought she would love to see these photos taken at Mimi and Granddad's house. These are vintage hats saved by Mimi's family. Here is a photo with my Grandma and the women in our family as well of one by herself. Doesn't she **Sparkle** HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! LOVE YOU!!!

The Jedi Master

Now, I have been researching and it says that a Jedi Master can only have one Padawan. However, I think Jedi has tons. His parents (Paul & Cynthia) came to work on the house they rent out to people. When Jedi returned, he told me he had to oversee everyone's work. He was in Charge of everyone there! In fact, he would sit under the shade tree and allot jobs. Wow, he sure has it figured out.

Jedi & Grandpa

I'm not the only one who loved hanging out with Jedi. My grandpa thought it was fun hanging out with him too! Here they are in the car. Wait a minute....I like to go in the car and I didn't get to go. Maybe he pulled another JEDI MIND TRICK on Pa. He's a smart dog!! Maybe I can be his Padawan and he can teach me all he knows!!!

Cousin Jedi

Cousin Jedi and I had a blast hanging out!! The craziest thing happened though. When we were playing, he would somehow control my actions without me even knowing. He was say things like "GIVE ME A KISS, YOU WILL." And before I knew it, I was giving him a kiss. He would also tell me to run after him and give him my food. He said it's a JEDI MIND TRICK. Man, I have got to learn that!

Surprise Tactic

When my competor has pulled to get the rope on their side, I surprise them by giving up and letting them pull me. I land right in front of their face....SURPRISE! I am pretty sure I surprised Aunt Cynthia as well as the camerawomen (My Mom) since I moved so fast!!

Tug of War!!

I just love this game. Aunt Cynthia agreed to play tug of war with me. I don't think she knew just how strong I really am. I think I surprised here. I AM THE ULTIMATE TUG OF WAR CHAMPION!!! No one can beat me!

Yeah!! I won!!

Uncle Paul was able to sidetrack Jedi so I got to play with my Aunt Cynthia. She is really cool! We had so much fun! I am teaching her here how to walk like me! After that, I will show her my very favorite game of all time!!! (Well, that is the time that I have been alive! I am almost an old man. I am one year old in people time and 7 years old in dog life...man, before you know it, I will be old and gray...wait a minute...I am gray...I'm so old)

What about me??

Hey wait a minute. I made all those cries so that I would be the center of attention. Jedi, you are suppose to place with me. Or at least let you parents play with me. Man, it's hard being an only child (Both Jedi and I are the only child in our families). Being an only child, you are lucky that you are spoiled and always get what you want. And what do I want....to play with Aunt Cynthia.

Here is Cousin Jedi with his parents. I had to bark and make a few crying sounds to get his attention. He's so darn cute that you don't want to take your eyes off him. Once I got everyone's attention, we all became instant friends!!!

Family Visitors -- Here to Celebrate

Hi Everyone,

Sorry I have not posted in quite some time. As a one year old, I have been so busy. Life gets harder as you get older. So much to do....like nibble on the plants, fertilize the backyard, bark away any preditors. But the main thing I have been doing is celebrating! I got to meet my Uncle Paul and Aunt Cynthia for the first time. They came to OKC and they brought my Cousin Jedi. We had some much fun. Stay tuned to see their visit. There will be posts of other family members that you may remember as well!
