Planting in the Backyard




My grandpa Don helped plant bushes on the side of the fence. He also worked hard to plant a Bradford pear tree to provide shade for me during the day (You can look at the archives about me enjoying the shade...it's towards the beginning on the blog). Doesn't his photo with the tree look like something out of GREEN ACRES!

Sawyer,
Your are going to have some good times with that tree. Some dogs find trees useful for something other than shade. It was nice of Grandpa Don to do that. At first glance I thought that was Oliver Wendell Douglas in the photo; then I realized the tummy was a bit too large.
