HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!!!
Sawyer is very proud of his family and the legecy they have left in America History. Therefore, over the next few days he would like to pay tribute to his family members who have served in the Armed Forces to bring Freedom to our great Country.

Today's spotlight is on Sawyer's Great-Grandfather:
Thomas Brown

BRANCH OF SERVICE - U.S. Army
HOMETOWN - Rochester, TX
ACTIVITY DURING WWII
INDUCTED AUGUST 21, 1944.

COMBAT INFANTRYMAN IN FRANCE AND GERMANY. INFANTRYMAN
REPLACEMENT TO TRAILBLAZERS 70TH DIVISION, 274TH INFANTRY
REGIMENT. LAST SERVICE WAS WITH SERVICE COMPANY, 29TH INFANTRY.

DISCHARGED AT SEPARATION CENTER,
FORT SAM HOUSTON, TEXAS
ON JULY 3, 1946.
