Doesn't that sound crazy? Welcome to OKLAHOMA WEATHER! It was so nice and sunny here in OKC, up to 80 degrees last week. Then on Friday we saq flurries. We are expected to get some snow today. There was a little bit predicted over night. So in honor of the snow, I added this cool pic which was never posted during the snow events. Enjoy!
Okay, okay! I got in trouble for telling a little white lie. My dad was actually sliding down the hill with mom. She took the picture and I used it for blackmail. Here is how it really "went down." My dad actually had a stick and made me wait at his feet after he threw it. I was a submissive dog and waited until he said "Go Get it!" So there you have it...dad is a little bit smarter than me!
Here is what happened by dad tried to get my bone!! I took it right out from under him....just like Lucy and Charlie Brown! Who's the smart one now?!?!
When we were out playing in the snow by the frozen pond, I thought I would make up my own game. It's called come and get it!!! Here is my part of the game. You'll have to wait until tomorrow to see what dad's role in my game!
One day during the snow, my parents decided we could go for a walk. Who would have thought that snow was other places than our backyard? The whole pond was frozen solid. But that didn't stop me. I could still play with my stick in the field. In fact, the snow made it easier to spot my stick. It was cool!! (Literally!)
There were three events...the first two you saw were the snow storm, then the ice storm. Now, here are pictures of the last event. It was a little bit of snow, but enough to have a blast. I was always excited when the snow came back around!!!
Sorry about the delay my dear friends. I have been out and about. First it was snow, then it was shine. I have so enjoyed the many weathers of Oklahoma. There are a few more snow pictures of me to come! Stay tuned!
As true football fans, our family knows that it's never to cold to play catch in the snow. Come rain or sleet or snow, football is always our favorite sport!
Playing catch was super fun. You know....it's crazy. When it rains outside, I can't bare to be in the backyard. However when it snows, it is a dream come true!!! Thanks dad for suffering the cold to play with me. You're the best!
Who says you can't play catch in the snow? My dad would make snowballs and throw them. Then I would retrieve them. Sometimes, they would would fall apart when they hit the ground. However, I always managed to find them!
As most of you know, this is my first winter!! There have been three different times of snow. Snow is so pretty. It is really cold too! It has been a blast discovering snow...You can play in it and eat it! Two in one!!! I would play outside for a bit and then come in to warm up....in and out....in and out...oh what fun!! Here is a photo of my first steps in the snow!
