SPECIAL NOTE

Dear Loyal Blog Viewers,
I will be taking a leave of absence for about the next week. When I return, I will tell you about a something very special. I am not sure what it is yet as my parents are planning something for their anniversary. I have a sneaking suspesion that they are leaving me for a while. All I know is that Aunt Doi will be my nanny for week. Return in one week for all the details!
Sincerely,
Sawyer the Dog

Chihuly

Also inside the Bellagio are beautiful Chihuly artwork adorning the ceiling. Dale Chihuly is known for his blown glass. It's is mesmerizing? My parents told me that in Oklahoma City we have a fifty-five-foot Eleanor Blake Kirkpatrick Memorial Tower in the Museum’s atrium made by Chihuly. It's a gigantic sculptor made of tons of pieces of blown glass. To check it out along with info on his exhibit at the Oklahoma Museum of Art, go to http://www.okcmoa.com/p/8397/Default.aspx
Who thinks dogs don't know anything about art? Think again...I'm no ordinary dog...I'm Sawyer the Dog!!!

Can you believe these are flowers?

Uncle Paul was fascinated by the enormous ferris wheel covered in flowers. It looks like one of those floats from the Rose Bowl Parade. Isn't it lovely?

A Beautiful Site to See

Aunt Cynthia really loved the Bellagio and the beautiful flower display they had available. Here she is with some of the prettiest flowers I've ever seen. Oh course, they are not as beautiful as she is! Love you Aunt Cynthia. Thanks for always checking in to see the blog! Love you!!

The Rest of the Duit Family

The only thing missing from my previous series of "Aunt Doi comes to America" was two of my favorite people...my Aunt Cynthia and Uncle Paul. They are apart of the Duit family, but they live near Washington DC. For Aunt Cynthia's birthday, my Uncle Paul took her to Las Vegas where he was working. Since they are loyal blog viewers, they were so sweet to share some of their favorite photos. (Which reminds me....feel free to send your favorite photos for Sawyer to post) Over the next week, I'll show you some of the neat sites from their trip. Enjoy!

Safe Travels

Ma, Pa, and Aunt Doi stopped by our house one last time on the way to Altus. Though they said it was to drop off my mom, but I really think it was to see me one last time. I'm so glad that my Aunt Doi has come to America and that we will have many more memories to come!!

Check out this smile

No one can put a smile on JJ's face like Pa! I think after seeing these photos I realize the reverse is the same too...that no one can put a smile on Pa's face like JJ. In fact, I think JJ makes Pa smile so big that his teeth and hair fall out. They are definately best friends!

Ahhhh.....so sweet

The girls joined together on the couch to capture the special moment, including JJ's baby doll she received from Santa. (If you don't remember the doll go back in the blog archives to Jan 19-20 to get the whole story)
I can't help but smile to see all of them together. I know something they all have in common.... each one of them love me, Sawyer the Dog. I bet they were even thinking of me when they had those beautiful smiles on their face. They are such a sweet family!

Resting and Relaxing

Being with family is so much fun. When you are with the people you love, you can rest and relax and enjoy their company. (The only thing that would be better is if my Uncle Paul and Aunt Cynthia were here with Jedi). The only question I have is why did Jett get to hang out with Aunt Doi by the pool while I was alone at home in the backyard (can you see Jett in the photo? If not, keep looking. You might have to click on the photo to enlarge it). It's just not fair. No matter what, I know the truth...AUNT DOI LOVES SAWYER THE DOG!!!

Bunny and her Aunt Doi

Bunny also joined Aunt Doi for a photo. Bunny has lots of memories from living in Thailand with her Aunt Doi when she was a little girl. She was so excited see her Aunt Doi after all these years. (Note: While they were taking a photo, Princess JJ was on her way to get my mom for another photo as well...stay tuned for those photos tomorrow.)

Family Photo

JJ thought it was great idea that Aunt Doi wanted a photo so she called for Ma and Pa to join in with her. She was so glad to meet Aunt Doi and have her visiting her house. What a special treat for our family. We are so glad she came to America! (To see the photo large, just click on it)

Aunt Doi Stops to Reflect

After JJ's grand tour, Aunt Doi stopped to take a photo with JJ's beautiful plants and to show off the magnificent backyard that King Matt and Queen Bunny have arranged.

The Magic Touch

Princess JJ is a lot like Snowwhite. Not only do the animals gather in her presence (as seen yesterday), the plants grow to enormous proportions just to please her. In fact, the plants in her pool area grew so tall that they are able to provide shade for Princess JJ when she is swimming in the pool on a hot summer day. Pa decided to show JJ just how tall the plants had grown in just a few months.

Creatures that Lurk in the Backyard

Just outside of the fence of Princess JJ's castle lies a pond and forest to hide the creatures that lurk about. JJ knows that these creatures only come out in the evening, so she made sure to show Aunt Doi animals she has never seen before. Look and see for yourself the creatures caught on camera by my mother.

A backyard made for a Princess

While at JJ's house, she showed Aunt Doi her backyard that's fit for a Princess. The backyard has a special garage, a pool, and a great scenic backdrop. Stay tuned for tomorrow when we reveal the creatures that lurk in the background of JJ's house!!

The Royal Maid

True Princesses have a staff that are always near them to help with their all the busy things they have to complete. When my mom (Tricia) is around, she offers to take this role. She too is a servant for JJ making sure she is happy. Mom wouldn't have it any other way!

The Royal Jester

Pa is always making sure that JJ is having a great time. He keeps her smiling no matter what it takes. Even if that means wearing this crazy and absurd hat. Oh the lengths he will go!!

Princess JJ

JJ has long loved Princesses. In fact, her entire room and bathroom are decorated in Disney princesses. It's a room fit for royalty. She also has more princess toys and stuff than another other child I've ever meet. Though I have not meet tons of kiddos (because I'm a dog and I don't get to get out unless it's a walk around the neighborhood), I still think she could compete with any kid in the world for amount of princess items they possess. Just look at this photo...she has a princess outfit and a princess car.....and a princess smile!!
